Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding was born Elena Jane Goulding in Hereford on the 30th of December 1986. Ellie Goulding rose quickly to the top of the charts with her electro pop sound after capturing the attention of the world with "Starry Eyed,"" along with "Guns and Horses" in the year 2010. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. With her distinctive soprano voice and knack for writing catchy yet emotionally earnest tracks, Goulding, much like her predecessors Kate Bush and Imogen Heap is at the top of the current mainstream and artistic, non-conformist pop.Goulding was soon moving from blogging to printed media, garnering the attention of mainstream magazines like The Guardian and fielding offers from record companies. Polydor Records, a major music label, signed Goulding and was preparations to release her debut album.
