Mischa barton was born on January 24, 1986, in the city of Hammersmith, England. The television series The O.C. she played Marissa Cooper a socialite. In addition, she was in The Sixth Sense a movie that is suspenseful. The O.C. which she appeared in was a popular TV show. In addition, she was a part of the cult TV show The O.C. In Romania she was hailed as a true hero. Comaneci also added two more gold medals in gold to her total of nine in the Olympics four years later. Comaneci became a member of the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame, and ABC News named her one of the greatest female athletes in the 20th Century in 1999. Comaneci, known as an American Olympic Champion Bart Conner married her in April of 1996. Together they had one child Dylan Paul. Together they own several gymnastics-related commercial interests, such as their own Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy. Comaneci has also been involved in a variety of charities as a member of the Special Olympics International Muscular Dystrophy Association as well as Laureus Sports For Good Foundation Board of Directors. Additionally she has continued to give back to dozens of charitable causes within her home country of Romania including the Nadia Comaneci Children's Hospital in Bucharest.
